Location:

The 5000 Block of  Narragansett Ave. in Ocean Beach.  We are 1/2 block to the ocean and two blocks south of  Newport Avenue.   If you drive, cycle or walk this block you will likely be able to locate the property from the photos.  Please do not disturb the occupants. 

A single level courtyard with eight apartment units. Garages are accessed via an alley.  The buildings were constructed in the 1950's.  There are two separate coin operated laundry rooms each with new washers and dryers.   A clothesline is located outside each laundry room.  

Each apartment is a two bedroom with one bath.  They have hardwood floors in the bedrooms, hall and living room.  New thermal double paned  windows were installed in July 2007.  Each unit is a little over 700 square feet.  As with many places of this vintage the closets are small.   Hot and cold water are included in the rent.  Natural gas (for the oven and wall heater) and electricity are metered to, and paid for by, the tenants individually.

Between April and October of 2008 the property was used to film a short lived CBS television series called the Ex List.  Most of the filming was done in the courtyard and in two of the apartments.

Parking: 

Most of the apartments come with a detached single garage that must be used primarily for parking.  Each garage has an electric opener with remote control. 

Pets:
One or two indoor neutered felines are allowed.   They may explore our nice lawn and garden areas only while supervised.  No dogs please.    

Smoking:

This is a no tobacco smoking property inside and out.  This policy insures that you, your children, your pets and guests will not be subject to  second-hand smoke entering your apartment from the outside.  It also allows you to enjoy the outside areas, front and rear, free from tobacco smoke.   

Smoking is allowed adjacent to the alley by the garages.  This area is not near any apartment windows or doors.
